The Anti-Fraud Office of Catalonia organized, together with the Barcelona Provincial Council, the conference 'Compliance and integrity in public entities' which was held on March 23 and 24 in Barcelona. During the Congress, the final report of the Compliance and Integrity Project was presented, a document with the objective of promoting a culture of compliance and integrity in various types of public sector entities (public commercial companies, public entities of a business nature, consortiums) within the scope of action of the Anti-Fraud Office.
Members of the universities that, through a collaboration agreement, developed the project participated in the Congress: professors from the Law departments of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), experts from the Anti-Fraud Office of Catalonia, as well as other individual academics. Several professionals from entities of the institutional public sector of Catalonia and a team of professors from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia also participated in the project and in the Congress.
