The investigation aimed to determine the existence of alleged irregularities in relation to the remuneration paid to two elected members of the Vilalba Sasserra Town Council government team during the 2015-2019 term. The actions taken by this Office confirm the existence of irregularities in the payment of attendance allowances to government bodies, but it should be noted that, once the investigation was initiated, these irregularities were corrected and, in some cases, regularized by the Town Council, so the amounts paid unduly were recovered, for which reason it was agreed to close the proceedings.
