As a result of a report, the possible irregularities committed by certain officials and elected officials of the City Council in the management of the execution of adaptation and improvement works in the municipality have been examined and have led to a favorable treatment towards the awarded company. It has been noted that a work certification was issued and approved for an amount higher than the amount actually executed, which represents a serious irregularity considering the certifications as public and administrative documents of an accounting nature. The construction management had not complied with the legal regulations that it had established as a reference when it drafted the project. A possible document falsification and accounting responsibility is also detected in the issuance of the other certifications.
