As the result of a report, an inquiry was conducted into the tendering, award and performance of a contract for consultancy services for the drafting of the 2012-2016 Strategic Plan for Catalonia for Agri-Food Research, Innovation and Transfer (PERITAC), awarded to a transnational company by the Private Foundation Udl-IRTA Centre (Agri-Food technology). The investigation focused on verifying the effective need for and suitability of the contract, and possible favouritism in the tendering procedure and award and performance of the contract.
