The purpose of the actions is to determine whether the company supplying the drinking water supply service of the municipalities of Santa Margarida de Montbui, Jorba and Orpí has ​​the corresponding enabling title. In the case of Jorba, it can be seen that the supplying company has an administrative contract for the concession of the service. In the case of Orpí, as in the case of Santa Margarida de Montbui, the absence of a qualifying title of the company that operates the service is noted, as a result of a unique and complex situation that has lasted for decades, far beyond the mandate of the governing teams that may currently have assumed this responsibility. Despite the above, given that the situation described shows a prolonged lack of diligence in the assumption of mandatory municipal powers regarding the imperative need to establish and regulate the water supply service , it is deemed relevant to send a communication to the town councils of Santa Margarida de Montbui and Orpí, as a reminder of the need to assume the powers that are their own and, in this sense, to urge the regularization of the service situation water supply in the respective municipality and its planning.
