This investigative action has had the purpose of determining the following reported facts: the possible existence of situations of incompatibility, or even conflicts of interest, on the part of several workers in the Area of ​​Attention and Services to People of the County Council of Ribera d'Ebre, when combining their public activity with the exercise of a second private activity. This Office has found that the General Board of the County Council approved irregular authorizations to work, outside of working hours, in a private company in the social services sector, but that said authorizations ended once the investigative action carried out by this Office began. On the other hand, given the temporality of the irregularities found, given that they were finally corrected and given the antiquity of the facts, this Office agreed to archive the investigative action and communicate its result to the County Council.
