As a result of a report, the alleged irregular use or destination of public funds with use contrary to the legal system has been examined, related to the payment of private expenses with public funds and the collection of unduly justified allowances by elected officials of the Rialp Town Council. Once the facts and the documentation provided have been analysed, it can be stated that, of all the actions investigated, only two have evidence of irregular use of public funds. It should be taken into account that the possible damage caused to public funds would already have been remedied through the return of the amounts in question. It should be emphasized that it has been established that other authorities, such as the Provincial Prosecutor of Lleida and the Court of Auditors, would have ruled that there was no criminal or accounting responsibility in these facts. The actions end with a decision to archive.
