The investigative action was initiated following a report filed against the Puigcerdà Town Council for alleged irregularities in the payment of a productivity bonus to a Town Council employee, which would cover up an alleged gratuity for his intervention in a specific procedure. Once the investigative action was completed, the Office has agreed to file it, given that it has been proven that the productivity bonus was paid for overtime and that it was endorsed by the Head of Personal Services.
