The investigation aimed to examine the actions of the La Portella Town Council in relation to the demolition of a property in the municipality and its subsequent acquisition by a company linked to the Mayor of the corporation. Once the investigative actions had been initiated, the Provincial Prosecutor's Office of Lleida notified the Anti-Fraud Office of the opening of criminal proceedings whose object coincided exactly with that of the Office's actions. For this reason, in compliance with the Law regulating the Anti-Fraud Office, any action related to it was suspended. Given that the Office submitted the actions it had carried out to the Provincial Prosecutor's Office of Lleida and that, up to the date of this resolution, it has not received any communication on the final outcome of the criminal proceedings initiated, it has been agreed to definitively archive the actions.
