Following a report alleging possible unjust enrichment by the Pere Mitjans Foundation in the management of a residential care home place, an action was initiated to examine whether the Foundation had received undue amounts for a place that had been assigned to a user and that, according to the report, had not been occupied between 13.03.2020 and 28.08.2020. In the actions that have been carried out, it has been verified that, indeed, the place had not been occupied during the indicated period. However, it has also been established that the managing Foundation returned, by transfer to the bank account of the Barcelona Social Services Consortium, ​​a total amount of 12,865.97 euros, corresponding to the 169 days that had been invoiced. For this reason, it is ruled out that the unjust enrichment complained of has occurred, and the action has been filed.
