Following a report filed for irregularities in the accumulation of two jobs by a municipal civil servant, irregular splitting of minor legal services contracts awarded to two commercial companies and the occurrence of a conflict of interest in that civil servant in the award of the previous contracts, the action of the Mancomunitat Penedès-Garraf was examined. It was found that some of the facts reported were the subject of other actions opened in the Anti-Fraud Office, and that the reported accumulation was being the subject of a contentious administrative procedure and a reserved information file by the General Directorate of the Public Service of the Ministry of Finance and Public Service, which eventually extended to the assessment of the conflict of interest, for which reason the Anti-Fraud Office filed the actions. On the other hand, no irregularities were detected in the awards of minor legal services contracts.
