An examination was conducted into possible favouritism by the Municipal Council of Pallejà when the council acknowledged a pending debt with a company, despite that company not having fulfilled all its contractual obligations. Work which was the subject of the contract for which the debt originated had not been completed in accordance with the specifications in the contract documentation. The council’s auditors also issued an adverse report with regard to the payment.
