Following a report, alleged irregularities that have been committed within the scope of the local police of Lloret de Mar are being examined. Specifically, several undue payments of overtime by officers from different units of the local police force were reported, as well as the alleged irregular acquisition, by a police officer, of a vehicle entered into the municipal depot. Already in the investigation phase, another report was received that motivated the opening of new plausibility actions on alleged irregularities related to the payment of overtime to different members of the local police. Once all the actions that were considered necessary to clarify the reported facts had been carried out, it was decided to close them by archiving them, without prejudice to the possibility of initiating another action in the event that new data or circumstances become known.
