As a result of a report about alleged irregularities related to the creation and management of the private foundation Science and Health in 1994 by three professors from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), the action has examined, among other issues, whether the creation had been formally communicated to the University, whether the professors had the necessary compatibility to participate in it and whether the economic amounts received could show an accounting irregularity or undue enrichment. The examination carried out shows that formal communication to the URV had taken place, that there are no sufficient indications of non-compliance with the compatibility regime and that the declared income, although relevant, is linked to services provided and reinvestment in the foundation's purposes. For all of this, the action has been filed.
