As a result of a report, the possible treatment in favor of an elected member of the Town Council has been examined, when awarding contracts in favor of two companies, one established and controlled by him and another by a family member , which could lead to the continued violation of the regulations on public procurement and incompatibilities. As a result of the actions carried out, it has been possible to verify a wide catalog of administrative irregularities linked to the contracts (divisions of the contractual object, expenses without a corresponding file, irregular modifications, etc.), in respect of which the eventual responsibilities that could arise from it had already been extinguished. Even so, detected irregularities are brought to the attention of the municipal corporation, with the aim of identifying administrative practices capable of improvement and applying, where appropriate, the relevant corrective actions.
