Based on information known through various media outlets, an investigation was carried out to clarify an alleged infringement by a former senior official of the Generalitat of the prohibition on intervening in private activities after termination, provided for in article 7 of Law 13/2005, of 27 December, on the incompatibilities regime for senior officials in the service of the Generalitat, due to the fact of joining the management of a commercial company, which, allegedly, he would have favored while he held a senior position. However, once the relevant investigative actions were carried out and according to the information obtained, it has been verified that the incorporation into the commercial company was carried out once the waiting period established in the legislation had ended, and, in addition, it has not been possible to verify the participation and/or effective influence of the senior official in favor of the commercial company, which is why the actions have ended up being archived.
