As a result of an action taken on its own initiative, the alleged illegal use or destination of public funds linked to the granting of a subsidy granted in 2016 by the Department of the Presidency of the Generalitat to a foundation has been examined, whose competence currently has passed to the Department of the Vice-presidency. Compliance with the legal requirement of the necessary linkage of the subsidy granted to the promotion of an activity of public utility or social interest is questioned.
