On its own initiative, the Anti-Fraud Office conducted an investigation into alleged irregularities related to the award of subsidies by the Ministries of Presidency and Culture of the Government of Catalonia to the Communication and Culture Audiences Private Foundation (FUNDACC) from 2005 to 2014. The subsidies were provided for the project entitled “General Media Study (EGM-Barometer)”, the aim of which is to prepare a study of audience measurement, media use and cultural consumption, and is especially designed for the specific needs of the Catalan cultural and communication space.
