As a result of a complaint, the alleged fraudulent use of minor contracting by the Alt Penedès Institute has been examined. Of the actions taken, no fraudulent action with signs of corruption has been detected, but some irregularities contrary to the principle of good public management, or even contrary to ordinary legality —irregular splitting of contracts, inappropriate use of public procurement procedures and failure to comply with certain precepts in document management— which are brought to the attention of the affected entity and the Department of Education and Professional Training.
