The subject of this investigation is the allegedly irregular access to a senior technical post of the Generalitat de Catalunya by a candidate who had provided an allegedly false certificate of foreign language skills in order to comply with one of the requirements of the call. Having examined the documentation of the selection process in which the person referred to has participated in order to access the job, it has been found that it was not really requested, as a requirement for participation, to be accredited with knowledge of a foreign language, specifically English, nor was it valued either as a merit or for any other concept. In this way, the object of the action falls away and it is not considered appropriate to exhaust the investigation with additional actions in accordance with the principles and criteria that must govern the investigation actions of this Office.
