Derived from a communication received from the Auditor General of the Audit Office, on the occasion of the 2013 audit report relating to the 2010 financial year, the object of these actions has been, on the one hand, to examine the possible treatment in favor of the granting of various subsidies by the Catalan Sports Council to different beneficiaries and any irregularities that may arise from them; and, on the other hand, the possible conduct and actions contrary to probity around a business project in which the Catalan Government would have invested through the Catalan Sports Council. The object of the investigative action was extended to any irregularities surrounding the position of secretary of the Catalan Sports Court in 2010, which appeared in the aforementioned Audit Office report. All these actions have ended with a resolution of filing since the reported facts have been rigorously evaluated, controlled, audited both by the Catalan Sports Council itself, which initiated a series of procedures to correct irregularities and of mandatory revocation of subsidies granted, as by the Intervention of the Catalan Government, by the Audit Office and also by the Parliament of Catalonia.
