As a result of a report, possible irregularities in the award of service orders from the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia (ICGC) to a commercial company unduly considered to be the Institute's own means in the period 2007-2013, have been investigated. In the absence of approved rates between the two entities and without reference prices, the Anti-Fraud Office has estimated significant surcharges on these orders. Also, inconsistencies and irregularities have been detected in the orders, unjustified splits of objects of contracts and significant delays in the publication of the plans linked to some of the orders placed by the commercial.
