As a result of a complaint, the possible illegal use or destination of public funds has been examined, which may have led to a favorable treatment for the owners of land acquired by the council above its market price. It is proven that the price paid was above the market and, consequently, the people who sold their plots were favored by those responsible who made the decision to pay these amounts. On the other hand, there is no evidence that the requirements required in the current regulations for the acquisition of the land were met, given that there is no expert assessment by a local technician. Nor is there any report from the Department of Governance or any of the other reports required by the regulations in force at the time of purchase.
