Taking into account the complaint submitted, the actions were focused on the analysis of the possible duplication of aid intended for the reindustrialization of the automotive industry, by the Barcelona Provincial Council and several county councils in the province of Barcelona (the County Council of Bages, Vallès Oriental, Vallès Occidental, Alt Penedès, Anoia, Baix Llobregat, Berguedà and Garraf). After comparing the various subsidies granted, it was determined that a possible duplication could have occurred in the case of Alt Penedès and Vallès Occidental, for which reason the possible ex officio review of the contracts that would have given rise to the aid granted was requested, and, if applicable, the return of the amounts paid.
