It is reported that public resources were being used for a propaganda activity of the municipal government team (publication of a newsletter) and that the space similar to that corresponding to the opposition councilors would not have been facilitated. It was also indicated that the cost of publishing, producing and distributing the newsletter was unknown. From the actions taken, it has emerged that the facts reported seemed to fit into a controversy in relation to the opportunity of the time and content of the publication and the effective implementation of the Municipal Communication Council. Although, certainly, it would seem that there would have been a breach of what is foreseen in the current regulations - article 170.2 of Decree 2/2003 which approves the revised text of the Municipal and Local Government Law of Catalonia -, in relation to the expenditure incurred, it must be said that the performance of all relevant accounting procedures was certified, that it was a minor amount and that the provision of the service took place. Consequently, the archive of the action has been resolved. Even so, the council has been notified of the regulatory breach detected.
