An alleged favoritism in the awarding of contracts to certain entities is reported due to the previous service relationship with the Town Council of which it is claimed that it would be the representative. From the information that has been collected throughout the action, there are no links between the awardees and the holders of the contracting bodies that could be indicators of a favorable treatment, nor irregularities in the processing of the contracts, for whereby the archiving of the proceedings is agreed. In any case, the contracts examined were awarded during the years 2016 and 2017, so, due to the time that has passed, the demand for any possible effect or liability that may be derived could be time-barred or the possible result of the investigative action would be contrary to the principle of effectiveness and efficiency.
