The investigation has focused on analyzing the alleged illegality of the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the payment of real estate tax, approved in the minutes of the plenary session of Amposta City Council on February 29, 2016, as well as the allegedly arbitrary actions of the members of the Local Government Board in granting economic subsidies that would cover up tax credits for the payment of IBI (Property Tax) in the years 2016, 2017 and 2018. The Office has submitted a reasoned report to Amposta City Council as it considers that the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the payment of real estate tax are null and void, as are the acts of application of these bases, which have been carried out in the successive calls for proposals in the years 2016, 2017 and 2018.
