The purpose of these actions has been to analyze the alleged irregularities related to the remuneration of elected members of the Almacelles Town Council in the period 2015-2018, as well as the inadequate perception by an elected member of remuneration for the attendance at the Local Government Board. It is appreciated that the allocations approved for attendance at the ordinary Local Government Board would be disproportionate and would establish, “de facto”, a differentiated remuneration scale depending on the position held in the governing team, which is not permitted by law. There is also an undue payment for attendance at elected officials who are not formally part of the Local Government Board.
