This investigation aimed to determine the existence of alleged irregularities related to the creation of the municipal company Centre de Serveis Geriàtrics Sant Esteve Sesrovires, SL (CSGSES, SL), management company of the Can Serra residence and day center for the elderly, with the awarding of the management of aforementioned center to a certain commercial company and with its management once the work was delivered. The investigation carried out by this Office determined that the situation arising from the constitution of the municipal company CSGSES, SL (currently called Serveis Municipals de Sant Esteve de Sesrovires, SLU), as well as the contract for the management of the Can Serra assisted living service and day center for the elderly, awarded by aforementioned entity to a specific commercial company, had been the subject of several legal proceedings. Thus, the execution of the contract gave rise to serious conflicts between the two parties that signed it and, finally, those conflicts resulted in numerous legal proceedings, in the contentious-administrative field. Given the total and absolute judicialization of the execution and termination of the management contract of the Can Serra residence, it was agreed to archive the file.
