Organised society

Guaranteeing a good political system and offering citizens scrutiny mechanisms capable of exercising healthy control over public decisions is one of the challenges we must meet to achieve quality governance.

To this end, the Anti-Fraud Office engages with a wide range of organisations which are essential to ensuring political and citizen participation and are key actors in the exercise of control over public authority.

The Office presented several recommendation in this regard to the political parties involved in elections to the Parliament of Catalonia on 21 December, and these will be presented in the following sections.

Recomendaciones a los partidos políticos (Recommendations to political parties) (in Spanish)

Also, on the occasion of the municipal elections of May 26, 2019, Anti-Fraud sent a document to the local representatives and the internal control bodies for the constitutional and organizational sessions of the new corporations with a series of recommendations taken from the information analysis and the conclusions from the various research activities carried out during the 10 years of operation of the institution.
